My Story

I’m Aunty Ann, a proud Aboriginal woman, known to our jarjums an Aunty sista, sista girl, great aunty and cousin with deep family ties to the Wulli Wulli (north-west) and Kooma (south-west) regions of Queensland. I serve as the Cultural Practice Advisor for DCC Industry Group. My career began as a youth worker, a role that uncovered my passion for supporting the cultural identity of young people.

Working at DCC has been both challenging and incredibly fulfilling, becoming an integral part of my life that I couldn’t imagine replacing with any other vocation. In my role, I have the honour of standing alongside young people, supporting them as they navigate their diverse life journeys.
