Leila Vittorio

My journey began as a qualified accountant, where I spent a decade honing my skills in taxation. While I found value in my work, I always felt a deeper passion - a desire to help vulnerable individuals and advocate for those without a voice. This passion was ignited during visits to see my mother's family in a remote rural village in the Philippines, where I witnessed the harsh realities of poverty. Seeing the struggles firsthand left a profound impact on me and fueled my determination to make a difference.

 

Recognising I could do more to support those in need, I made the decision to change my career trajectory. I pursued a Master of Social Work, gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to create meaningful change. Since then, I have never looked back. Each day in my role, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment as I work towards empowering individuals, supporting communities, and advocating for those who need it most. My experiences have shaped my commitment to driving positive outcomes, and I am proud to contribute to a mission that aligns closely with my values.
